When I was younger, I had a short black hair with full bangs, just like most kids with straight hair. When I reached fourth grade, my mother had my hair curled to be identical with hers. Yes, it was a short one and curly, too. I think this is normal phase for parents to play with their kids into making them their mini-versions. In fact, I also had a dress which was of the same cloth us hers where we only differed in style
.
After that time, it never went back to my old straight hair. And I heard stories like; sometimes our own hair would feel bad if you’ll have an abrupt change of style. Believe it or not, after having heard of that story, I make sure I talk to my hair (like talking to myself LOL) whenever I’m going to have a major cut. In high school, it was long and slightly curly, but during the entire college, it has always been nape-length (the nerd with eyeglasses:). When I was already working, that’s the time I tried different hairstyles from really cropped up and rebond or relaxed. Sorry, but I am one person who cannot stand same hairstyle for a long time, and I salute all those who has never changed theirs. We heard stories, having haircuts after a breakup, yes, I had those, too (LOL). But, most of the time, it is only when I find my hair boring and that same day; you’ll see me in a salon having it cut.
with my long curly hair
About four years ago, it was the last time I had hair relaxing. It felt good, but after 6-months, as usual, it was back to its semi-frizzy texture. Then I decided I wanted to have it curled again, long and curly, hopefully. But the hairdresser told me that since I have undergone a straightening treatment (relax) just that year, I had to wait for almost three years before I can have it curled because the new medicine won’t have an effect at all. Then I decided to have barber’s cut thinking that I would only have to grow it naturally in a shorter span of time then have it permed once its longer. This time, while it was growing, it was developing its own curls naturally and I was so happy. I’ve managed to grow it already and still wearing it. Yehey, I was able to save thousands for not having had it done at a salon. And not only that, it’s so easy to maintain physically and financially. Why? I only go to the salon once in a while for volumizing effect, no special rituals just plain shampoo and conditioner, comb it twice a day (after shower and before bedtime) and only uses a hair oil for its natural shine.
I cannot believe I can write so much just about my hair. But I guess, it’s just right since it’s really my crowning glory. Do you have a long story to share about your hair, too? Come on, share it.

Hi Arcee,
This question may be a little off-topic, Hair loss can be thought-about as an appalling know-how for most families, in particular for those who contemplate their crowning glory as a key element of their on the whole fashion fashion and their normal self expression.
Keep up the posts!
i’m using a locally made organic conditioner to minimize hair fall. a friend told me that it’s the conditioner that’s harsh and causes it…thanks for dropping by:-)
